ShelterBox Australia Larapinta Trek 2019

About The Larapinta Trail

This is your chance to trek the legendary Larapinta Trail and experience the beauty of Central Australia like never before.

The Larapinta Trail is regarded as one of Australia’s premier walking tracks. From the old Alice Springs Telegraph Station to the peak of Mount Sonder, the trail stretches 223 kilometres along the backbone of the West MacDonnell Ranges.

Over 5 days, you will cover 60 kilometres of this iconic track, while exploring the mountains, valleys, rivers and desert landscapes of the Red Centre. You will ascend Mount Sonder, one of the Northern Territory’s highest peaks, all while enjoying some of Australia’s most magnificent trail views.

To top it off, by joining Team ShelterBox you will help raise vital funds to ensure no family goes without shelter after disaster strikes.
