Give your time
Every volunteer is instrumental in providing shelter to families after disaster, wherever they are in the world.
Whatever skills, knowledge or spare time you have, you can play a vital part in this process. All we need is your passion.
If you don’t see a role below that fits in with your skills and availability, think big and get in touch anyway – we may have something else that suits you.
Play to your strengths
Do you share our impatience to see a world where no family is left without shelter when disaster strikes?
We’re looking for enthusiasm and a desire to enact real change. We have a number of fun, interesting volunteer opportunities.
Ambassadors are the face of ShelterBox in their communities, arranging presentations and fundraising events when it suits their schedule.
You’ll proactively build relationships with local organisations and community groups. Bring our work to life, and identify potential opportunities in your area.
Raise awareness of ShelterBox within your Rotary club and act as a central contact back to ShelterBox and local Ambassadors.
Share our passion, and ensure that the latest ShelterBox information is provided at the club level. Promote ShelterBox as the go-to charity for club fundraising.
Whether you’re into marathon running, making cakes or throwing dinner parties, you can transform a fun event with your friends and family into vital funds for ShelterBox.
When you go the extra mile by organising an event, you’re helping our ShelterBox teams go further. Use your passion and transform it into essential funds for ShelterBox.
We welcome team players, willing to help out at ShelterBox displays, festivals, stalls and events.
Support the ShelterBox team by helping set up a tent, staffing a stall at an event or selling raffle tickets at a festival
We may call upon you to assist with annual events like the Royal Perth Show or one off fundraising events in your local area. We’d especially like help in advocating our work and fundraising during a major disaster.
You’ll be the ‘go-to-person’ in your region, supporting current and new volunteers, also helping to arrange events and presentations.
Area Coordinators perform Ambassador duties like presentations and fundraising, but also work in a team lead capacity. Create a powerful volunteer network, aimed at inspiring, training and supporting your fellow volunteers.
